Don't get me wrong. I'm not a skank. I appreciate fine food as much as the next amateur gourmand, but it isn't foie gras or kobe beef that interests me most. My true passion lies in that salt-laden, appallingly tasty, bloat-making ambrosia that I have come to call Dirty Delicious Food. It can be street food. It can be junk food. It can be a home-cooked extravaganza of oil. But as long as it is slightly squalid, criminally cheap, and perfect after six beers, it qualifies.
At the moment, I am living in Shanghai, a city that suffers no shortage of DDF. Thus I have decided to start this blog to document my forays and experiences. Enjoy.
